A couple months back, I featured a video called Hair Wars: Weaves, Perms & Wigs vs Natural. This video was created by a wonderful online resource for natural hair – The Coil Review.
In their online issue, they have a section called “Favorite Pics” where they feature a Coilstar (celebrity with natural hair) and a user-voted Coilaroid (highest voted pic from a member of the “regular-people” natural hair community *smile*).
I was delighted to find out this evening from one of my YouTube subscribers, that my picture had been voted as the Coilaroid for the December issue! I wasn’t expecting that at all and am extremely honored to be featured.
The Coil Review has some great articles (NaturallyLeslie (featured Blogger Naturalista) is also a contributing writer there) and natural hair resources, including product reviews and listing of natural hair salons to name a few.
