New Year…Natural Hair!

Wishing you all a happy holidays season!

As we prepare to enter the new year, I decided to feature all those who are going into the beginning of a new year with natural hair for the first time! That is those who decided to do the “big chop/gradual chop” this year and transitioned from relaxed to natural hair.
I am collecting your pre-big chop(BC) and post-BC pics for a feature post that I will put up between Dec. 31st/Jan 1st to commemorate this wonderful transition.  If you’re in this category (like me!) and want to participate, email your photos to goingaunaturale@gmail.com.
I have already received a good number of photos and can’t wait to receive more! : )

I have seriously been considering EMBRACING natural on the 31st so that i can start off my year as a true natural!!! I'll be getting back in from out of town & I have braids so i probably won't have the time =/ BUT…It's the plan to take these braids Out & experiment asap!!! I've been "natural" (as in no chemicals) since 2001, BUT it doesn't really count since my natural hair is always covered with weaves, braids, pressed out, etc!! (& oh the damage i've seen because of it!!) BUT YES.I.CAN! lol….hopefully i'll be able to learn some new natural styles…&& more than anything, i hope i can go into this new yr. loving my hair in its COMPLETELY Natural state!!

i've been blogging & youtubing (as in watching & reading)for a long time now…I just want to go for it!
