A New Me says: I am loving it. Every style you do looks so amazing on you. You are a true inspiration. You have inspired me so much. I did my big chop two months ago and I am loving my curl definition. You inspired me to track my spritual journey and my natural hair journey as well. Just to see how much you inspired me made me want to track it so inspire people so as my daughter and other woman. Keep up the good work Mae.

Shandra E...*the misses says: wow you've had so much growth; your hair is CUTE! I just had my 1st "24 hrs as a natural"!!! lol..I LOVED IT, but unfortuantely it only lasted 24hrs for me!!! =/ ONLY because it's high maintainace to keep up Natural hair!!! lol…i would need so much extra time at night & in the morning to walk out the house looking descent & right now i just don't have it (two jobs)…BUT I made a promise to myself: I WILL take that Journey (not just a "day-trip"! lol) TO Being Natural THIS summer!!! i loved it…i even saw undertones in mys skin i never saw before?? lol…idk, but i just felt so WHOLE?! i felt Completely ME and i loved it…i went to the mall & everywhere else people feel so obligated to "put on" & just strolled feeling absolutely beautiful!!! And as FEARFUL as i was…i had so many good reviews!!! I can't wait till summertime & this year, it has nothing to do with the clothes!!!!
I'm sure i'll feel the need to be natural next month too…who knows if i'll even make it till summertime!?!! lol…I plan on making it a lifestyle though; an everyday thing! ….i just got a weave though. BOOOOOO!!! =/ i felt so horrible & it seemed like everywhere i went there was suddenly Natural women there to make me stay "connected" to the plan!! lol..i felt hypocritical though, but i kept saying "God knows my heart"!!! lol…
i would send before/after pics, but i feel like i don't really count since i wont be a FULL-TIME natural untill summer! But i have pics posted on my blog!!
