I created this site in July of 2009 to initially document my transition to natural hair and now the site has blossomed into so much more!
On this site, you will find the stories of many other young women who have transitioned to natural hair, who are excited to share their experiences, tips and encouragement. You'll also find special features of Natural Chicas who are artistas (Artista Spotlight), have their own businesses (Empresa[Business] Spotlight), are proud to rock their short natural do's (FAB Teeny Weeny Afros [FAB TWAs]), willing to share their unique natural hair stories (Háblame=Talk to Me), and even exclusive interviews with other blogger and vlogger naturalistas (Blogger/Vlogger Naturalistas) and so many other exciting features!
In addition to topics related to natural hair, we here at Natural Chica believe in giving special care to our WHOLE body, so be on the lookout for features on natural health & beauty products and even fitness advice.
