FAB (Fierce And Beautiful) TWA #3: Cara-Cara

Meet Cara-Cara, another fierce natural rockin' her TWA!

When you started rockin' your TWA

Aug 14, 2009.  Let me say that southwest Georgia has gotten into the natural scene, but we are pitiful when it comes to finding natural products for our hair.  I am going to do a product run to Atlanta in October and I plan to bring back a massive haul of stuff.  lol Also I just love the supportive natural  hair community online and in my church.  My senior pastor is a naptural girl and her hair is gorgeous!

What were some of the initial reactions to your TWA

My husband loved it and church members were pleasantly shocked. My mother wants me to help her help her begin to transiition. Also sister has been natural for ten years and always asked us why we had perms in the first place.  Her hair is also gorgeous.  My 13-year old daughter is natural as well.

3 things you love most about having a TWA

The freedom of it all, the hair texture that's  God-given and mine all mine, the coolness to my scalp ( I live in hot and humid south Georgia!)

3 products you can't live without for styling your TWA

My ecostyler gel, my co wash conditioners and rinse out conditioners.

Any sites where we can keep up with your journey:

I am going to start a fotki album soon!
