So making those handmade flowers a couple days ago got me anxious about using my new sewing machine!
I got a bit ambitious last night and made a shoulder sling purse!
I tried to play around with the different stitching patterns, but since this was actually my first time using a sewing machine … I definitely still have some kinks to work out with the “pedal + moving fabric” coordination and adjusting tension and all those other fun things : )
Even though the stitching isn’t perfect, I will proudly wear my new creation,lol. The thing I love about sewing is that you can take the ideas straight from your head and turn it into REALITY. There are no rules to follow and it really allows you to portray your own personal style!

(Do I have any fellow seamstresses out there who can give some tips to a newbie to sewing??!)
