FAB TWA (Fierce And Beautiful Teeny Weeny Afro): Meet Ludny!

MEET LUDNY!

WHEN YOU STARTED ROCKIN’ YOUR TWA

I started rocking my TWA as soon as I cut it on May 21, 2010. So I am a newbie to the natural community.

WHY DID YOU MAKE THE TRANSITION TO NATURAL HAIR?

My reason may be different from others but I was so sick of perms. I liked the texture of my natural hair and felt that perms made my hair very thin.

3 THINGS YOU LOVE MOST ABOUT HAVING A TWA

1 I can wash as often as I like. In the permed community you are conditioned to wait a week or in most cases, 2 weeks. My scalp did not like waiting that long for a wash.

2 It is so easy to maintain and takes very little time to style.

3 The confidence I have gained, cause I think its take a lot to be able to rock one and rock well 🙂

3 PRODUCTS YOU CAN'T LIVE WITHOUT FOR STYLING YOUR TWA

1 My water and vegetable glycerin mix (makes hair so soft)

2 Shea butter and jojoba oil mix

3 My purple afro pick! (i am working on getting it bedazzled)

WHAT WOULD YOU SAY TO OTHERS WHO MAY BE CONSIDERING DOING THE BC?

Only do the big chop when you are ready because if not, it will be a very scary experience. I was  on and off about going natural for about 2 years and the moment I decided I was ready was when I did it.
