I thought it to have more of a liquid consistency than most body butters, but it wasn't runny and was very easy to apply to the skin. My skin absorbed it well and did not leave behind a greasy or sticky feeling. It did leave my skin feeling soft, however, I honestly could not handle the fragrance of this product. It has a very pungent, herbal smell which was too strong and unpleasant for me. I tend to go for moisturizers that have more of a sweet scent, so if you like strong herbal smells, this may be for you.

However, with use, it was a bit harder for me to tell the difference in how it made my skin feel. According to the ingredients, the main difference is the addition of olive oil.
