Welcome to the holiday beauty series, stay tuned to the blog by the end of the next couple of weeks you will have tips for a complete holiday look. We will talk about colors and suggestions for eyes, lips and cheeks. Today’s post is all about the eyes. - Rachel O
1) To start use a neutral shade maybe a shade or two lighter than your skin tone, Because it’s the holiday season you can add a festive look by using a shadow that has a hint of shimmer or glitter. Apply the shade from your lid to brow bone 2) To create depth take a brown shade or slightly warmer shade and apply this color in your crease. This will give your eyes a brighter look by placing the color between the brow bone and lid.3) Lastly because it’s the holiday season it’s a great time to think outside the box and a pop of color to enhance any facial feature you choose such as your cheeks or lips. For this look we are adding a dash of bold color to the upper and lower lash line. If you really want the eyes to stand out add a pair of false lashes and black mascara. n this tutorial I used Aqua Liner and shade #1 from Milani Cosmetics for a bold pop of color however should you want to be more traditional with your holiday look you can never go wrong with black, it is classic and looks great on everyone.
Have fun with the look and stay tuned in December for the rest of the holiday look.
