Ever since I started using all natural lotions several years ago, my skin has been thanking me! There's nothing like the feeling of applying a lotion, rich with natural ingredients that truly moisturizes and softens the skin. This winter, I've found some new favorite body lotions that I just had to share with you!
Savannah Bee Company is a unique company with its beginnings in beekeeping, later expanding to create all natural body care products with the pure honey they collect. I had the opportunity to review a set of their honey body lotions and let me tell you, they have a new super fan!
These lotions have an amazing blend of all natural ingredients with the added softening benefits from the honey, which is a natural humectant (meaning it attracts and retains moisture). Their honey body lotions come in three scents: wild blackberry, lemongrass spearmint and tupelo honey. The wild blackberry definitely has a sweet, fruity scent that I loved. As a fan of anything lemongrass, I absolutely loved the pairing with the mint for a rejuvenating lemongrass spearmint scent. Last but not least, the tupelo honey has a sweet but mild scent, which would be great for those who don't care for heavily fragranced lotions. As far as the consistency of these lotions go, they are quite rich but are absorbed easily by the skin, leaving it moisturized and soft. This is NOT your average watery lotion where it feels like you didn't even put on lotion 30 minutes ago (you know what I'm talking about lol). These lotions are now a mainstay in my purse to combat the drying effects of this cold, winter weather PLUS I love putting the lotion on just to smell the sweet fragrances ( I am obsessed with love great smelling products!).
