I'm always on the hunt for more natural beauty products, so when Whole Foods Market reached out to me about covering their first annual Beauty Week (March 18 - March 24), I gladly welcomed the opportunity! During their inaugural beauty week, the Whole Body department will be hosting events, classes, demonstrations and promotions to inform shoppers about Whole Foods Market’s large selection of quality personal care products and cosmetics that support healthy people and a healthy planet. You can check here to find the closest Whole Foods Market to you. Pacifica Hawaiian Ruby Guava Perfume Roll-On ($11.49)
The first item I wanted to find in my natural beauty product search was perfume. Over the years, I have swapped many of my traditional beauty products with natural alternatives but for some reason I had never searched for a natural perfume. The Pacifica line of perfume roll-on's caught my attention with their variety of fragrances (sooo hard to choose one) and the fact that they are 100% vegan, cruelty-free and free of parabens, phthalates and propylene glycol. I really love the fruity hawaiian ruby guava scent as well (thanks to the hubby for helping me finally narrow it down!).everyone ® Hand Sanitizer Spray in coconut + lemon ($2.99)
Hand sanitizer was another item where I was particularly looking for a new natural alternative. With a baby on the way, I know I'm going to need hand sanitizer in my purse and pretty much in every room of the house so I was so glad to find this natural hand sanitizer spray by everyone ®. I love the easy spray application and the coconut + lemon scent is light and fresh. I'm already planning to go back and buy some more!Mineral Fusion® Lipstick in 'Tempting' ($14.99)
So I've tried natural lip crayons and glosses before that I've loved, but I had never found a great natural lipstick until I tried this Mineral Fusion® lipstick in 'Tempting'. I was glad to discover that the pigment was rich, long-lasting and it had a smooth, moisturizing formulation! With ingredients like castor oil, beeswax, shea butter, jojoba oil and aloe vera just to name a few, it's actually pretty easy to understand why it glides on so smoothly. I can't wait to try some of their other cosmetic products in the future since this one worked so well for me.Burt's Bees® Cucumber & Sage Facial Cleansing Towelettes ($5.99)
At home, I use a natural cream-based product to remove my makeup with cotton balls but for quick on-the-road removal, I thought it would be good to try to find some natural makeup removal wipes. I found these facial cleansing towelettes by Burt's Bees® in cucumber and sage that I ended up liking. They aren't 100% natural (pretty close at 99.1% natural) but they did a great job of removing my makeup and leaving my skin feeling refreshed and thankfully not dried out!Heritage Store Rosewater & Glycerin ($6.69) + Wyndmere Blue Glass Mister ($2.69)
This rosewater & glycerin by Heritage Store is an old fave of mine. I paired it with the Wyndmere blue glass mister so I could apply the mixture to my face, body or hair in a nice, even spray. It is a light, moisturizing formula and the delicate scent of roses is a plus!
Tom's of Maine Long Lasting Deodorant in 'Soothing Calendula' ($5.99)
Over the past few years, I've had an interesting journey in trying to find a natural deodorant. I've either found formulations that smelled great, but didn't offer long-lasting odor protection or lasted long but ended up irritating my skin. I actually came across Tom's long lasting deodorant a couple months ago and was thankful to find something that offered long-lasting odor protection, smelled great and didn't irritate my skin! I had previously tried the apricot scent so I decided to try the soothing calendula scent this time around and I love it as well!
Eco Lips Mongo Kiss with Mongongo Oil Lip Balm ($1.99)
When it comes to natural lip balms, I can never have enough! I had to try this Mongo Kiss lip balm by Eco Lips because I honestly had never heard of Mongongo oil before. Since I've been using it, I've learned that Mongongo oil is harvested from the nut of the mongongo tree, which is specifically sourced from Zambia, Africa for its use in this Mongo Kiss lip balm. Here's a quick rundown of the benefits of Mongongo from Eco Lips:
- High in Vitamin E and other vitamins to nourish the skin.
- Humectant: Attracts and retains moisture.
- Contains the essential fatty acids and vitamins necessary for your skin to create a flexible barrier that can also prevent and repair any damage to the skin.
- Naturally protective of UV rays.
- Skin softening.
This lip balm definitely glides on smoothly and truly acts as a great humectant. It also leaves your lips with a healthy looking sheen. I'm already planning to pick up more of these as well!
I hope you've enjoyed this overview of my new natural beauty product finds from Whole Foods Market and that it motivates you to find ways to incorporate more natural products in your beauty regimen if you're not already doing so 🙂

A few years ago I switch to natural beauty products and cosmetics and, I’m a frequent Whole Foods shopper and I always end up in the beauty products section. I’ve tried Mineral Fusion lipstick and it is really nice. I’d once found a shade of red by Mineral Fusion that I could wear daily.
Here are a few of my favorite staple items that I find at Whole Foods:
Dr. Bronners soap in Lavender – I’ve used this soap for a little over 5 years now, I love it, it smells good, is relaxing and my skin seems better since using it.
Deodorants – I’d gone through quite a few brands in search of a deodorant that would hold me, not irritate my underarms and a scent I like. There are two that I find at Whole Foods which are my favs (I alternate deodorant brands so my body doesn’t become immune to it and the deodorant becomes ineffective) Naturally Fresh Deodorant Crystal and Crystal Body Deodorant in lavender.
EO Products – Hand Sanitizing Gel Lavender is another staple of mine.
I enjoyed reading this post, thank you for sharing the information.
Thanks for sharing your faves! I’m going to have to check some of these out.
